Sapphire-tip FUE

Sapphire FUE is a relatively new and innovative technique for the opening of the channels during a FUE hair transplant. The sapphire tip blades, made from a precious gemstone called sapphire, are sharper, smoother and much more durable than typical steel blades.
During the process of making incisions in the recipient site, using sapphire tip blades provides smaller and more delicate incisions. Therefore, more channels can be opened, enabling transplantation of more grafts per 1 cm2 without jeopardizing blood circulation in that area, resulting in a denser outcome.

The blades are designed to minimize scab formation and speed up the recovery process by opening smaller micro channels within the recipient site.

Sapphire-tip FUE helps achieve high hair density, especially in the frontal region, while providing a natural and smooth hairline.

Sapphire-tip incisions are ideal for maximizing density at the front hairline. This technique is routinely used for suitable candidates with mild to moderate hair loss. For advanced hair loss cases, since grafts must be distributed over larger areas, sapphire-tip incisions do not provide a significant advantage.
